This moth has a purple bronze forewing with a whitish fascia well extends beyond the middle of the forewing.
The larvae create a contorted gallery. Often there are several mines in one leaf. The larvae seem to prefer seedlings close to the ground.
Mainly coastal.
Recorded in 29 (10.7%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
