This species has a narrow forewing and dark general colouration.

Wingspan: c. 17-23 mm.
Foodplant(s): Aspen (Populus tremula), poplars (Populus spp.)
Flying: One generation, August-October
National status: Nationally Scarce B


Mixed woodland.

Regional Information

Recorded in 9 (3.3%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
