Pupates in leaf litter.

Overwinters as Overwinters as a pupa.
Both sexes come to light but in small numbers only.
Often disturbed during day

Forewing length: 11-15mm.
Foodplant(s): Norway Spruce (Picea abies), Sitka Spruce (Picea sitchensis), Noble Fir (Abies procera), Silver Fir (Abies alba), larches (Larix spp.)
Flying: One generation, June-July
UK Presence: Resident, Possible Immigrant
National status: Uncommon/Rare

Conifer plantations and shelterbelts.
