Overwinters as Overwinters as a pupa.

Wingspan: 5-6 mm.
Foodplant(s): Hazel (Corylus avellana), Hornbeam (Carpinus betulus)
Flying: Two generations, May and August
UK Presence: Resident
National status: Common
