General Information

This moth lacks the pink flush of C. implicitana and is slightly smaller.


Wingspan: 9-12mm.
Foodplant(s): Blue Fleabane (Erigeron acer), Canadian Fleabane (Conyza canadensis)
Flying: Two overlapping generations, June-August
National status: Nationally Scarce A

Habitat

Grassland, wayside verges and wasteground.

Recorded in 3 (1.1%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
