Pupates in leaf litter.

Overwinters as Overwinters as a pupa.
Both sexes come to light but in small numbers only.

Forewing length: 10-11mm.
Foodplant(s): Wild Angelica (Angelica sylvestris), Common Hogweed (Heracleum sphondylium)
Flying: One generation, late June-July
UK Presence: Resident
National status: Local

Habitat

Fens, wet meadows and damp woods.

Regional Information

Recorded in 9 (3.3%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.

Last recorded in August 2015

Recorded date range (Adult): 11 June to 18 August
