This species was added to the British list in 1980.

 

Genital examination is required to reliably seperate this moth from C. coracipennella and C. spinella.

Foodplant(s): Blackthorn (Prunus spinosa), Dwarf Cherry (Prunus cerasus), Apple (Malus domestica)
Flying: One generation, June-July
UK Presence: Resident
