General Information

This species is a recognised pest of cultivated and garden peas.

Flies during the day

Wingspan: 12-16 mm.
Foodplant(s): peas (Pisum spp.), vetches (Vicia spp.)
Flying: One generation, May-August
National status: Common

Habitat

Rough downland, fields and gardens and horticultural land where peas are cultivated.

Regional Information

Recorded in 20 (7.4%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
