General Information

This is the most variable species of the Gypsonoma species found in the UK, in general colouration and forewing markings.


Wingspan: 11-14 mm.
Foodplant(s): deciduous trees
Flying: Two overlapping generations, June-August
National status: Common

Habitat

Open woodland.

Regional Information

Recorded in 161 (59.6%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.

Last recorded in October 2022
