Rests by day on trunks and fences.

Both sexes readily come to light, sometimes in numbers.

Wingspan: 10-11mm
Foodplant(s): hawthorns (Crataegus spp.), Midland Hawthorn (berries) (Crataegus laevigata)
Flying: One generation, May-August
