General Information

This is one of several members of the Glyphipterix which are quite similar, but this species has a characteristic white dot in the black apical patch of the forewing.

Overwinters as Overwinters as a larva.

Foodplant(s): True Fox-sedge (Carex vulpina), False Fox-sedge (Carex otrubae), sedges (Carex spp.)
