General Information

This moth has a variable slate-grey colouration and is one of the least well-marked of the Cnephasia species.


Wingspan: c.15-22 mm.
Foodplant(s): ragworts (Senecio spp.), herbaceous plants, buttercups (Ranunculus spp.)
Flying: One generation, July-August
National status: Local

Habitat

Chalk downs, rough fields on coast and inland.
