General Information

Now split into three species; E. regificella (593), E. geminatella (593a) and E. tengstromi (593b). Great Woodrush recorded as foodplant for E. regificella and E. geminatella. Hairy Woodrush only known host plant for E. tengstromi.

E. regificella only occurs in SW England from Cornwall to Devon, Gloucs and Wiltshire.
