General Information

The female moths are wingless and resemble small yellow grubs.

 

The larvae live and feed in a case.

Overwinters as Overwinters as a larva.

Wingspan: 15-19 mm
Foodplant(s): lichen, decaying plant matter
Flying: One generation, May-June

Habitat

Woodland, rocks and old walls.
