General Information

This moth has a glossy grey/brown forewing.

 

The larvae produce a contorted gallery which often doubles back.

Overwinters as Overwinters as a pupa.

Wingspan: 3-5 mm.
Foodplant(s): Rowan (Sorbus aucuparia)
Flying: One generation, May-June
UK Presence: Resident
National status: Local

Regional Information

Recorded in 5 (1.9%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
