This species is characterised by its broad forewing and grey colouration.


Wingspan: 18-22 mm.
Foodplant(s): Beech (Fagus sylvatica), Sycamore (Acer pseudoplatanus)
Flying: One generation, August-October
National status: Common

Habitat

Woodland, parks and gardens.

Regional Information

Recorded in 32 (11.9%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
