General Information

This species can be recognized by its conpicuous white costal marking on the forewing.


Wingspan: c.13 mm.
Foodplant(s): Rosaceae (Rosaceae spp.), hawthorns (Crataegus spp.), Apple (Malus domestica)
Flying: One generation, July-September
National status: Common

Habitat

Woodland, hedgerows, scrub, gardens and fens.

Regional Information

Recorded in 37 (13.7%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
