General Information

This moth is similar to, but about twice the size of, B. lunaris.

 

The larvae feed under dead bark of twigs of gorse.


Wingspan: 13-18mm.
Foodplant(s): Gorse (Ulex europaeus)
Flying: One generation, June-July
