General Information

This moth has a diagnostic yellow head colour.

 

The larvae produce a long, narrow white gallery mine.

Foodplant(s): Cock's-foot (Dactylis glomerata), False Brome (Brachypodium sylvaticum)
Flying: Two overlapping generations, June-August

Habitat

Woodland edges and rides, roadside verges and waste ground.
