General Information

This is a very distinctive species and is unlikely to be confused with any other. It is the only member of the Eidophasia genus that occurs in the UK.

 

Pupates in a very loose silken mesh attached to the underside of a leaf.

Both sexes come to light.

Habitat

Wasteland and other open places where the foodplant grows.

Recorded in 5 (1.9%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
