General Information
The larvae feed in a communal silken web after initially mining the leaves of the foodplant.
Both sexes come to light.

Foodplant(s): hawthorns (Crataegus spp.), Blackthorn (Prunus spinosa), cotoneasters (Cotoneaster spp.)
Flying: One generation, June-July
UK Presence: Resident
National status: Common

Habitat

Woodland, scrub, gardens, heathland and grassland.
