Flies from dusk.

 

Pupates on the ground.

Overwinters as Overwinters as a larva.
Both sexes readily come to light, sometimes in numbers.

Forewing length: 12-13mm.
Foodplant(s): thymes (Thymus spp.), Wild Marjoram (Origanum vulgare), herbs
Flying: Two generations, May-June and mid July-early September
UK Presence: Resident
