General Information

Pupates on the underside of a leaf.

Overwinters as Overwinters as an adult.
Both sexes come to light but in small numbers only.

Forewing length: 13-15mm.
Foodplant(s): Common Hop (Humulus lupulus)
Flying: One generation, August-June (hibernates)
UK Presence: Resident
National status: Nationally Scarce B

Habitat

Hedgerows, woodland fringes and ditches.

Regional Information

Recorded in 27 (10%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
