Pupates amongst the roots of the food plant.

Overwinters as Overwinters as an egg.
Both sexes come to light.

Forewing length: 16-23mm.

Habitat

Reedbeds and reedy ditches, preferring the drier parts.

Recorded in 73 (27%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
