This is one of three species (Marbled Minor, Rufous Minor and Tawny Marbled Minor), which can only be reliably separated by genital dissection.
Pupates amongst the roots of the foodplant.
Grassland, fens, woodland, heathland, scrub and gardens.
Recorded in 99 (36.7%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
