Overwinters as Overwinters as a pupa.
Male readily comes to light, sometimes in numbers. Female not.

Forewing length: 17-19mm.
Foodplant(s): Hazel (Corylus avellana), Downy Birch (Betula pubescens), Silver Birch (Betula pendula), sallows (Salix spp.), hawthorns (Crataegus spp.)
Flying: One generation, May-June
