General Information

Pupates in loose soil.

Overwinters as Overwinters as a larva.
Both sexes come to light.

Forewing length: 14-17mm.
Foodplant(s): Wood Melick (Melica uniflora), Wood Meadow-grass (Poa nemoralis), False Brome (Brachypodium sylvaticum), woodland grasses
Flying: One generation, late June-mid August
UK Presence: Resident

Habitat

Woodland with grassy rides and clearings.

Recorded in 55 (20.4%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
