General Information

Pupates in loose soil.

Overwinters as Overwinters as a larva.
Both sexes come to light.

Forewing length: 15-18mm.
Foodplant(s): Hound's-tongue (Cynoglossum officinale), Sea Plantain (Plantago maritima), Thrift (Armeria maritima), Biting Stonecrop (Sedum acre), Wild Cabbage (Brassica oleracea), herbaceous plants
Flying: One generation, late August-early October

Habitat

Mainly coastal areas, vegetated shingle, limestone and chalk slopes.

Regional Information

Recorded in 2 (0.7%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
