Pupates in loose soil.

Overwinters as Overwinters as a pupa.
Both sexes readily come to light, sometimes in numbers.
Flies during the day

Foodplant(s): Common Ragwort (Senecio jacobaea), groundsels (Senecio spp.), Colt's-foot (Tussilago farfara)
Flying: One generation, mid May-early August
