Pupates in loose soil.

Overwinters as Overwinters as an egg.
Both sexes come to light but in small numbers only.

Forewing length: 17-19mm.
Foodplant(s): Broom (Cytisus scoparius)
Flying: One generation, September-early November
UK Presence: Resident
National status: Common

Habitat

Heathland and open woodland.

Regional Information

Recorded in 20 (7.4%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
