General Information

This is the smallest of the Plume moths found in the UK.

The larvae feed on the stems of hemp agrimony and sometimes cause a slight gall.


Wingspan: 13-17mm.
Foodplant(s): Hemp-agrimony (Eupatorium cannabinum)
Flying: Two generations, May-July and July-September
National status: Common

Recorded in 21 (7.8%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
