Pupates in a cocoon behind the flaked bark of old Sycamore trees.


Wingspan: 13-16 mm.
Foodplant(s): Sycamore (Acer pseudoplatanus)
Flying: One generation, May-July
National status: Common

Habitat

Woodland, hedgerows, parkland and gardens.

Regional Information

Recorded in 11 (4.1%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
