General Information

This species has creamy-white forewings, with contrasting blackish markings on the dorsum.


Wingspan: 13-17 mm.
Foodplant(s): birches (Betula spp.)
Flying: One generation, June-July
National status: Common

Habitat

Birch woodland.

Regional Information

Recorded in 48 (17.8%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.

Last recorded in August 2023
