General Information

This is quite a colourful moth which can be identified by its yellowish white dorsal blotch.

Flies during the day

Wingspan: 11-15 mm.
Foodplant(s): Ash (Fraxinus excelsior), privets (Ligustrum spp.)
Flying: One generation, May-August
National status: Common
