This moth has a characteristic bright orange hindwing colour and rounded forewings.
Flies during the day

Wingspan: 14-24 mm.
Foodplant(s): plants and shrubs
Flying: Two generations, May-July and July-October
UK Presence: Resident
National status: Local

Habitat

Gardens and hedgerows.

Recorded in 47 (17.4%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
