General Information

This species has a variable ground colour from ochreous-yellow to greyish brown, sometimes with an olive tint.


Wingspan: 16-25 mm.
Foodplant(s): deciduous trees
Flying: Two overlapping generations, June-August
National status: Common

Habitat

Gardens, woodland, fens, heathland and scrub.

Regional Information

Recorded in 113 (41.9%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
