General Information

Pupates in a loose silken mesh on or near to the food plant.

Overwinters as Overwinters as an adult.

Wingspan: 11-14mm
Foodplant(s): Onion (Allium cepa), Leek (Allium ampeloprasum), Garlic (Allium sativum), Chive (Allium schoenoprasum)
Flying: Two generations, June-July and October-May (hibernates)

Habitat

Mostly coastal areas but can be found inland.

Regional Information

Recorded in 11 (4.1%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
