General Information

This is one of several related species which are probably becoming more widespread as a result of the increased planting of juniper in gardens.

Both sexes come to light.

Foodplant(s): Common Juniper (Juniperus communis), cypresses (Cypressus spp.)
Flying: One generation, July-August
UK Presence: Resident
National status: Common
