This is a distinctive member of the Phyllonorycter, with a black head tuft, metallic lead-grey thorax and silvery-white markings strongly edged with black.
The larvae produce a long and narrow mine, often with several to one leaf.
Recorded in 10 (3.7%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
