The larvae produce a mine similar to C. syringella on the same foodplant, but with a more silvery colour.
Overwinters as Overwinters as an adult.

Flying: One generation, September-May (hibernates)

National status: Uncommon/Rare

Habitat

Sea-cliffs and rough ground near the coast and woodland inland.

Regional Information

Recorded in 4 (1.5%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
