General Information

The larvae produce distinctive, violet or purple spiral leaf mines.


Wingspan: 7-8mm
Foodplant(s): Purging Buckthorn (Rhamnus cathartica), Alder Buckthorn (Frangula alnus)
Flying: One generation, June-July
