This moth is very similar to other Nepticulidae.
The larvae produce an S-shaped mine, usually within the confines of two veins. The larvae can often be found in 'green islands' in fallen leaves.
Recorded in 121 (44.8%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
