General Information

This species is very difficult to distinguish from other members of the Yponomeuta, even by genitalia examination. Identification is best achieved with reference to the food plant.

 

The larvae initially mine leaves but then feed gregariously from a silken web.

Overwinters as Overwinters as an egg.
Both sexes come to light.
