Overwinters as Overwinters as an egg.
Both sexes come to light.

Foodplant(s): oaks (Quercus spp.), poplars (Populus spp.), Beech (Fagus sylvatica), sallows (Salix spp.), hawthorns (Crataegus spp.), broadleaved trees

Habitat

Broadleaved woodland, scrub, heathland and hedgerows.

Regional Information

Recorded in 69 (25.6%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
