General Information

This is one of the smallest of the very similar Cnephasia species.


Wingspan: 14-18mm.
Foodplant(s): herbaceous plants, plantains (Plantago spp.), Common Sorrel (Rumex acetosa)
Flying: One generation, June-July
National status: Common

Habitat

Woodland edges, roadside verges and hedgerows.

Regional Information

Recorded in 97 (35.9%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.

Last recorded in July 2022
