General Information

The ground colour of this species is very constant. Weakly marked specimens may be confused with P. heperata. The male has a white head.


Wingspan: c. 18-24mm.
Foodplant(s): deciduous trees
Flying: One generation, late June-August
National status: Local

Habitat

Deciduous woodland.

Regional Information

Recorded in 10 (3.7%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
