General Information

This moth has a pale yellow-grey forewing with a pale yellow fascia.

 

The larvae form a narrow gallery mine which becomes a large round blotch with scattered frass. This is one of the first leaf mines found in the year.

Overwinters as Overwinters as a pupa.

Wingspan: 5-7 mm.
Foodplant(s): Rowan (Sorbus aucuparia)
Flying: One generation, May
