General Information

This moth is similar to E. scutulana but can be distinguished by the lighter, olive-green colouration of the forewing.

Flies during the day

Wingspan: 15-20mm
Foodplant(s): Colt's-foot (Tussilago farfara), Winter Heliotrope (Petasites fragrans)
Flying: Two overlapping generations, June-August
National status: Local

Habitat

Rough uncultivated ground, waste places, waysides, embankments, coastal landslips, shingle and sandhills.

Regional Information

Recorded in 8 (3%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
