General Information

The males of this species fly between sunset and dusk and again at sunrise. The large, tufted labial palps are characteristic.


Wingspan: 23-25mm
Foodplant(s): heaths (Erica spp.), Bell Heather (Erica cinerea)
Flying: One generation, June-July

Habitat

Damp lowland heaths
