Pupates in loose soil.

Overwinters as Overwinters as a larva.
Both sexes readily come to light, sometimes in numbers.

Forewing length: 21-32 mm.
Foodplant(s): Pedunculate Oak (Quercus robur)
Flying: One generation, mid June-mid July
UK Presence: Resident
National status: Nationally Scarce B

Habitat

Mature oak woodland.

Regional Information

Recorded in 5 (1.9%) of the 270 2km squares of Huntingdonshire.
